This tutorial was made in psp 8 but can be done in other versions. You will need supplies HERE which includes, Frame/Template, Brush, Eyelet and Chain, Chains, Charms by KellyJ (please leave file name intact) and Doodle from Scrappy Expressions. A Tube of your choice, i'm using the artwork of Dark Yarrow available from Dreamscape Imaging. A Favourite Texture of your choice, I used a Lee texture HERE. .Ok, let's get started! Open all the supplies in psp and minimise for now and install the brush (for info on how to do this go HERE) ;) Open a new blank image 600 x 500, flood fill with white. Copy and paste the rectangle template as a new layer and with your magic wand tool set at 0 feather, 0 tolerance click inside the rectangle, Selections> Modify> Expand by 3. Choose a texture of your choice and open the texture in psp and colourise it with a colour to match your tube, I used Hue: 148, Saturation: 62. Copy and paste the texture as a new layer onto your canvas and drag this layer below the rectangle layer above your background layer on your layer palette. Resize it to your liking, Selections> Invert and hit delete. Selections> Select None. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer onto your canvas and make sure it is on top of your layer palette, resize if needed, I resized mine by 95% and I also added the feathers as another layer, and add a drop shadow, I used V: 2, H: 2, Opacity: 88, Blur: 8. Copy and paste the eyelet and chain and position it towards the bottom on the left (use my tag for reference) then Layers> Duplicate, Image> Mirror and make sure that it positioned over to the bottom right. Open the KellyJ Charms and copy and paste the rose charm as a new layer (you may need to trim the top off with the lasso tool to make it fit) and position it at the top left, add a drop shadow, I added a drop shadow to the chains of V: 2, H: 2, opacity: 30, Blur: 5. Copy and paste the doodle as a new layer and drag this layer to the bottom of your layer palette, above the background layer and resize to your liking, I resized mine by 85%. Copy and paste the Chains as a new layer and drag this layer to the bottom of your layer palette, above the background layer. I added a the same drop shadow as the rose charm. Layers> New Raster Layer and drag this layer to the bottom of the layer palette above the background layer, select a colour from your tube and apply the Exotica brush, mine was set at size: 430. Add the artists copyright info as a new layer and add your watermark/tagger name etc. as a new layer. Add the text for you name as a new layer, and anything else you want to add at the top if you feel like it ;) I used The King & Queen font for the top font and Selfish for the name font. Layers> Merge> Merge visible, save as JPG and we're done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! :o)
