This tutorial was written in psp8 but can be done in other versions.
You will need:~ Supplies Zip HERE, which includes, Preset Shapes, and Brushes.
Tube of your choice (i'm using the artwork of Keith Garvey, you must purchase a license to use his artwork from My PSP Tubes)
Dsb Flux (Bright Noise) HERE
Put your preset shapes into your jasc software psp preset shapes folder and open a new image 500 x 500 colour white.
Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer and reisize 70%, bicubic, resize all layers UNchecked.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, with the following settings:~

Set your Foreground colour to a dark colour from your tube and a light colour for your background. Click on your Preset Shape Tool and find 'Gear3' in the drop down preset list:~

With Create as vector and Anti-alias checked, line width 3, draw out a large gear behind your tube, Layers>Convert to Raster Layer and drag this layer below your tube layer on your layer palette.
Draw out another slightly smaller gear and position it near the top left and then convert it to raster layer.
Draw out one more gear smaller again and position it below the medium sized gear and then convert to raster layer. Make sure that all gear layer are below your tube layer ;o)
Add the same drop shadow as your tube to your gears layers.
Layers>New raster Layer and place this layer above your white background and below your gear layers, and add some brushes to your liking (I lowered the opacity of my brush layer to 70)
On a new layer add the artists copyright info and your watermark etc. and then add your name with the same foreground and background as the gears, I used font: Cargo Crate HERE, stroke width 2 and also applied the following inner bevel, and the same drop shadow as before:~

Crop your tag if needed and then close the visibility off (click glasses or eye on layer palette) of all layers except for your gears layers and Layers>Merge>Merge Visable, With your magic wand tool select the inside of all the gears.
Layers>Duplicate 2 times giving you a total of 3 merged gears layers.
Click on your top merged gear layer on your layer palette to make it the active layer and apply Effects>Plugins>Dsb Flux, Bright Noise with the following settings:~

Apply the bright noise again on the middle gear layer but click the 'mix' button twice, apply it again to the bottom gear layer, but this time click the 'mix' button 3 times.
Selections>Select None.
Unhide the layers that you hid earlier and now hide the bottom 2 gears layers, Edit>Copy Merged.
Open Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>As New Animation.
Back to psp and hide the top gear layer and unhide the middle and Edit>Copy Merged and into Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame.
Back to psp again and hide the middle gear layer and unhide the bottom gear layer and Edit>Copy Merged and over to Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame.
Check that your animation plays ok and the Save as Gif and we're done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
