This tutorial was written in psp 8 but can be done in other versions.

You will need Supplies Zip HERE, which includes: Background Sunset Image and Rope Frame (made by me), Saddle, Badge, Boots, Hat and Horse Gif (royalty free clipart).

A tube of your choice, i'm using the artwork of Keith Garvey and you will need to visit My PSP Tubes to purchase the tube.

Ok let's get started!

Open all the the supplies except for the gif in psp and open a new blank image 500 x 500 colour white.

Copy and paste the rope frame as a new layer onto your blank canvas and copy and paste the Western Sunset background image as a new layer onto your canvas. On your layer palette drag the sunset layer below the rope frame layer. Make sure that the rope frame layer is the active layer by clicking on it on your layer palette and with your magic wand select inside the frame, Selections>Modify>Expand by 5 pixels, Selections Invert, activate the sunset layer on your layer palette and hit delete on your keyboard (or Edit>Clear) Selections>Select None.

On your layer palette close the visibility off of the bottom white background layer (click the eye or glasses) and Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Unhide the background layer and apply a drop shadow to your merged layer of V:0, H: 0, Opacity: 55, Blur: 5.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize, bicubic, resize all layers UNchecked and position to your liking and apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the Sheriff Badge as a new layer and resize, I resized mine by 80% four times to keep the quality of the image. Position it over to the top right or wherever you would like it. Apply a drop shadow, I used Lokas 3D shadow, flat faint shadow HERE.

Copy and paste the Saddle as a new layer and resize, I resized mine by 80% two times. Position it on the top of your frame over to the right and apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the Hat as a new layer, resize, I resized mine by 80% three times, position it next to the boots and apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the boots as a new layer and resize, I resized mine by 80%, position them on the bottom right of the frame and apply a drop shadow.

Layers>New Raster Layer and drag this layer to the bottom of your layer palette above your background layer, select a dark colour from your tube and apply some blurry brushes under your frame.

Add the artists copyright info and your watermark/tag name etc. as a new layer on the top of your layer palette. Next add your name, I used font Vanilla Whale HERE, size 64.

Layers>Merge>Merge Visible, Crop your tag if needed and Edit>Copy.

Open Animation Shop, Edit>Paste>As New Animation and find and open the Horse gif from the supplies zip. You will see that it has 8 frames, Edit>Select All, Edit>Copy. Click on your original tag and Edit>Duplicate Selected four times until you have 9 frames, click on one of the frames to activate it (the border will turn red) and hit delete on your keyboard (or Edit Delete) and you will now have 8 frames.

Edit>Select All, Edit>Paste>Into Selected Frame, you will see the horse gif appear at the end of your mouse cursor, click to position the horse gif onto your tag. Animation>Frame Properties, change it to 25 and click ok, check that it plays ok and save as gif and we're done!
