This tutorial was written in psp 8, but can be done in other versions.

You will need:

A Tube of your choice, I used the artwork of Martin Abel, you will need to visit CILM to purchase the tube and a license.

Supplies: Leather Frame by me HERE and Mask by Kels HERE

Fonts: La Portenia de la Boca (pay font, sorry I cannot supply it but any script type font will do) and BulletHolz available HERE

Optional: Lokas 3D Shadow: HERE

Ok, Let's get started!

Open a new image 500 x 500 and flood fill with white, choose a dark colour from your tube for the Foreground colour, Layers>New Raster Layer, and flood fill with your chosen colour.

Open the mask and minimise, Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image, find the mask in the drop down menu and click ok:

Layers>Merge>Merge Group.

Open my Leather Frame and copy and paste it as a new layer.

Open your tube (I used Martin Abel's larger tube), copy and paste it as a new layer and drag this layer below the frame layer on the layer palette, resize and position it over to the left, Change the Blend Mode on the layer palette to Luminance (Legacy) and lower the opacity to around 64 or so. Apply a Drop Shadow, I used V: 2, H: 2, Opacity: 100, Blur: 5. If there is a part of the tube hanging out over the edge trim it off with your lasso tool.

Copy and paste your tube again (I used the full length tube) resize and position it over to the right (I mirrored mine) and apply a large blurry drop shadow, I used Lokas 3D Shadow and chose Flat Faint Shadow in the preset menu. Make sure that this layer is on the top of your layer palette.

Choose a dark colour from your tube as the Foreground colour, I used the same as the mask layer, and select white for the Background colour. With the text tool, choose your font and type out your words, I typed "Sexy Rebel. Apply a drop shadow, I used V: 2, H: 2, Opacity: 80, Blur: 5.

Add the artists copyright info and your license number and tagger name etc. and Layers>Merge Visible.

Edit>Copy, open Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>As New Animation.

Back to psp and choose 2 colours from your tube, I used the same colours as before but swapped them on the colour palette so that white is now my Foreground and the other colour my Background colour. Choose the BulletHolz font, I used size 60, but it will depend on the length of your name, make sure that you have Create as Vector checked.and type out your name.

Click the little + sign on the layer palette where it says Vector 1, you will see a layer with your name on it:

Right click over your name layer and in the drop down menu choose: Convert Text to Curves, then, As Character Shapes:

You will see another + sign next to your name, click it and then you will see all the letters of your name:

Click on the first letter of your name on the layer palette and you will see it appear on it's own on your tag, position it, and then click the next letter on the layer palette, position it and then carry on with each letter until you are happy with the placement.

On the layer palette, close off the visibilty of all the letters of your name, except, for the first letter. Edit>Copy Merged, over to animation shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame.

Back to psp and unhide the next letter, Edit>Copy Merged, over to animation shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame.

Back to psp and unhide the next letter, Edit>Copy Merged, over to animation shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame.

Repeat these steps until you have unhidden each letter and finished copying and pasting into animation shop.

Edit>Select All, Animation>Frame Properties, and change them to 25. Move the animation slider bar all the way to the last frame, and click on the last frame to make it active (the border will turn red) Animation>Frame Properties and change the last frame to 150.

Save as gif and we're done!
